COPS: Human Smuggler Stashed Seven Illegal Aliens in Hidden Compartment of Texas Trailer

On Wednesday, Border Patrol agents announced the discovery of seven illegal aliens concealed in a sweltering hidden compartment under a flatbed trailer in South Texas. The discovery followed the driver of a truck pulling the trailer crashing into a ranch fence near Laredo in a bid to escape. The aliens were found sealed into the poorly ventilated compartment during one of the hottest weeks of the summer thus far.

EXCLUSIVE: May Migrant Apprehensions Increase Along SW Border — Almost All Returned

Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 8,500 migrants who illegally crossed the southwest border from Mexico into the United States in May, according to unofficial Border Patrol reports reviewed by Breitbart Texas. This is the second straight month of increased apprehensions. However, more than 99 percent of these were returned to Mexico or a safe third-party country.

Most of the criminal cases involved illegal aliens charged with unlawful entry, while some cases involved U.S. citizens and legal residents who allegedly engaged in Alien Smuggling.

Suspected Tren de Aragua Gang Member Arrested in in Texas Alien Smuggling Sting

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Department Organized Crime Unit executed two search warrants on residences in San Antonio, leading to the arrest of five suspects due to a long-running investigation into human smuggling. Sheriff Javier Salazar told reporters one suspect is believed to be a member of the notorious Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Operations agents interdicted an attempted human smuggling incident off the coast of California, according to Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks. A video posted on X shows the agents ramming the alleged smuggler’s boat in an attempt to stop them.

The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) transferred control and administrative jurisdiction of nearly 110,000 acres of federal land along the New Mexico-Mexico border to the Department of the Army.
